Hi Formites
We are now past the half way point slowly meandering down the French waterways towards the Med in our 370 hp single engined 33 foot Aquastar.
FUEL CONSUMPTION
Started in Jersey, brimmed the tank in Alderney with the hope to get all the way to the Med on Red without refuelling.
It's looking good, we have seen off Alderney, LaHavre, Honfleur, Paris, Epernay, Charlons-en-Champagne, st Dizier, the high point of the canal network Tunnel at Batailles, now going down hill we are currently on the Saone river in Charlon Sur Saone.
Still have almost half a tank left!
BIKE COVERS
A question, we have 2 bikes (one electric) perched on the front of the boat, for protection as well as security reasons it would be good to have a bike cover, you'd think it would be easy to pick one up but all the major sports chains Decathlon etc don't seem to sell them, anyone got any ideas where in France to purchase one?
