Posted this on Moody Owners a few days ago but havent had a response. I'm guessing Nick is off on a trip and will reply when he gets back but, in the meantime, any takers here?

Fairly boat specific, but some of the other M44 owners may have done the job -0 maybe the 41s and 42s are similar?

Failing that I'll do what I usually do which is to remove screws and bits until it all falls down around my head /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Aimed mainly at MoodyNick who I think has just done the job, and to help me avoid reinventing the wheel.

To get at the deck hull bolts in the aft cabin, I need to remove the headlining. There seem to be several pieces so I should be able to get away with removing 2 on each side.

The bits of the joint that I need to get at are in the region of the aft cleats, (where there is a little cover that can be removed with just 2 screws - the cover only allows access to the underside of the cleat, and not the underside of the bolts.

However, one of the headlining panels on each side seems to be sealed, (white sealant), to adjacent ones, and I know that if I disturb the sealant, I will make a right mess if I try to reseal them.

Any suggestions re order of removal, which to remove, and how to reseal.

Many Thanks

Richard

Seriously, it's a survey issue, and will hopefully cure a leak which floods the underside of the seat cushion by the bunk - cant have damp, wet and smelly, can we? Other leaks arent so urgent as they end up in the bilge /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

PS: Found out how to set the rev counter code - all working fine now! (if you hadnt seen my post on it)
