A friend as a Moody 346 which still has the original engine etc. It is fitted with a three blade prop. Stops well and reverses easily but he thinks it is a bit slow motoring at cruising revs. Now on the hard next to another 346 which has a two blade prop.
Does anyone know what was original and what the benefits of one over the other might be. The owners manual just says it is 15 x 12.5 RH but not how many blades!
P.S. Googling has determined that most are 2 bladers. So why fit a three?
