Monel rivets best place to buy ?

Could anyone point me in the direction of an economical source for Monel rivets. I’m currently trying to repair some fittings on an aluminium boom. . I’ve done a google search and they all seem to be about £1 each for 4.8mm ones.

I just paid £1.33ea for 1/4" ones. If they were much cheaper I would doubt the veracity of the Monel claim.

Yup, Monel isn't cheap. I'd also recommend Seascrew or inox.ie. Can find them on eBay too, but check seller ratings first.

Wow! £2.45ea for 1/4"x3/4". I do hope my supplier isn't reading this .... and I thought £1.33 was pushing it.

And they reckon the Scots are pennywise? Why not go to your local chandlers and spend your £10(ish), it could just help keep them in business.
And no, my local source doesn't have any shop never mind an online one.

When buying monel pop rivets, I had good and helpful service from inox ie. But beware that the rate of VAT in Ireland is, I think, 23%.

I bought several hundred from a light aircraft equipment supplier. Vastly cheaper than marine and obviously of a suitable standard. Just had a quick look and Rivetwise do 100 for £53 plus VAT and delivery which sounds pretty good. You can always sell on the once you don't need!

I have also used this supplier extensively for monel rivets and not had any problems over the last 6/7 years.
