how long after a boat as been lifted out the water..
would you expect it to dry out before a surveyor take's moisture reading's?
just seen one taking reading's on a boat that was just lifted and the hull still wet (less than an hour out).

quite normal for a survey to be done on a lift hold and re-launch, so long as all the salt water has been washed off the hull a surveyor can do a moisture reading once scraped back the antifoul in numerous spots to reveal grp. The fact it has only just come out the water will show readings above a boat that has been out for a few weeks, but then they use there knowledge to assess whether the readings are within a tolerance..

Good summary, and accurate.
