Just in process of buying my first 30ft offshore cruiser after many years pursuing other forms of recreation. The surveyors report states a reading of 160 with his Protimeter Aquant meter. He does not seem too concerned with this reading, and reports no blisters. Any comments from more experienced sailors than me out there.

so on that basis 160 would be quite low

thanks for your comment. Just need a little assurance as Im parting with some money! Ive been known to ask a bus conductor for ID.
