Blatant misuse of the forums, the impression i got, he only joined too make commercial posts!

Its very different from others who have been valued members for a while to make the occasional commercial post, but this guy went at it from the start!

My interpretation is;

In the end it was blatent advertising. Told you the dealer and the models. As he was not an established poster they ran the risk of letting a real dealer in the back door. I believe he is genuine..does that make me gullable? More likely his mate/partner works at peters and he was drumming up business for them, but it was worthy of a thread I thought!

I ABSOLUTELY agree. I think he was cought hook, WESTLINE, and sinker. Maybe we all need a stiff MALTHOUSE to get over it!

Dan. It would really help if, when you pull a post, you could give a brief reason. That way people can learn by example the boundaries of what is acceptable. I am NOT questioning your right to do it !

I agree,

It was not the content that was actually being discussed but perceptions around it. We all like to know about bargains, but what was being discussed was the viability of Sealine, the viability of the mystery man and the pros and cons of newbies getting too big for their boots!

It was developing nicely!

I wonder if a Sealine person or a Peters person picked up the phone to YBW. I know Sealine Bods read it and presume some Peters guys to. For all we know Peters may have had a deal with Sealine wherby they could clear stock cheaply but quietly.

Could have been a Cunning Plan by someone who wanted to scotch a deal that was about to be launched with cheap deals by an existing agent / broker.

And to think that we might have been innocent parties to some political shenannigans like that ! Tut, and again, tut !

I'm all for fun advertising if it's sophisticated and well done, but 'twas a bit naive and incompetent, unless of course it was set up that way. Ho Hum, we shall never know.
