Yep, i can confirm they are already here. We have a pair of VP D13 800hp motors with selective catalytic reduction units, which are about a third of the size of the motor, in our new build at work. If memory serves I think the ad blu tanks are 10% of the fuel tank capacity.

You can see the lagged pipe work going from the engine to the SCR unit in the first pic and the SCR unit (also lagged) in the second pic.

Just out of interest, prop shaft "looks" to be a bit light to handle 800 HP ?
We have a weedy 235 hp on a similar sized shaft around 40mm.

That hadn’t crossed my mind but they are very experienced and reputable builders so I would think (hope) it is up to the job. I might just check the diameter out of interest - perhaps it is larger than the photo makes it look?

I bet it is - 60mm is my guess.
Maybe oldgit has in mind the proportion between his 40mm shaft+235hp engine, but here everything is larger.
I'd be curious to hear about the actual size, anyhow.
Just comparing the diameter of the adjacent gearbox oil filter canister nearbye.

Do have a bit of "previous" regards bending propshafts/ "P" brackets and other assorted stern gear.
An observer about 300 metres away did later mention hearing the loud bang and observing a boat leap out of the water when its owner managed to hit something hard on the bottom.
