I am on leave, this weeks weather is forecast to be good and I have just spent the last two days passage planning to the channel islands!

Fear Not -You are not alone. I know a guy whose wife received a bite (probably viper) a week before they were due to go on holiday. She was very ill for a week and on all sorts of medication but recovered enough to go to town on the Friday with him to collect their Euros.

On returning from town they found their house under 2 foot of water. They left the keys and insurance details with their daughter and went on holiday.

Whilst away, on about day 4 of the holiday they both got a severe dose of food poisoning which held us up for 3 days in Vernon whilst they recovered.

On our way back down to Le Havre their boat hit somehing big and hard in the in the water and is now in Le Harve awaiting new props and shafts.

And he is still cheerfull!!
