I remember when;
if the marina had power and water close by and the pontoons did not bounce to much when walked on and there where enough cleats , No nails sticking out , and some kind of shower with warmish water , it was a good marina, I think things have changed now a bit.

So what do you call a good marina.

They are sadly boat car parks and whilst some car parks are nicer than other car parks they are.

Quiet with a shop bar and pool is probably best. Club de mar is good ... even has a free kids club so some car parks are not so bad!

- Somewhere safe from the weather all year round
- Somewhere secure from thieves etc
- Somewhere near to the apartment
- Somewhere with a couple of nice bars and restaurants
- Somewhere cheap

I dont care about anything else. I manage to get 4 out of the 5 points above - guess which one I dont get.

To visit: somewhere with good eating / drinking nearby.
Reasonable showers, pleasant surroundings, somewhere to take the Tender for a trundle.
Ideally, water not full of JellyFish.
