Google has let me down (or I was looking for the wrong thing).

I am fitting new headlining boards and need new screws. These need a hole in the head like a mirror screw
comme ca http://www.doorfurnituredirect.co.uk/scpro/bernards/productdetailsmore~productid~3818.htm
The old ones are too short for the slightly thicker board and are in poor condition. The caps have a stalk not a phillips type shape.

Brass or stainless. I need 50 so buying them with caps is way too expensive. The hole doesn't need to be threaded.

Any ideas please?

I used ordinary screws at home and with plastic csk bases with a click on lid,so the head is covered. I have a few steel ones of the type you want but must check for quantity, I've a few of the brass screw in caps too.
You can buy these plastic caps from B&Q for a pound or two for a hundred and use ordinary 1/2" brass or steel screw ,and if for a headlining they would be a good match to the white vinyl.

Just checked, the screws are 1/2" steel of which I have 16 off,and 53 of the brass caps. If these are any use to you PM me your address and I'll pop them in the post.
