My sextant takes up too much room in the cabin....
it usually lives in the end of the quarter berth, but I think it will be stopping ashore. Ditto the equally bulky but far less fragile Walker Excelsior. Still no advance on the Baby Blake, though!

I know what you mean our keepers bring these things on board. Then at our Lady keepers complain and they get taken ashore never to reappear. I haven't seen the sextant on board for the last three years, and I can't remember when I last saw his Octant.
