Has anyone tried running a microwave from a Honda EU10i.

If so what make / model, and how were the results.

Re pressure cookers, will the Origo 3000 handle a 24cm pan ok.

Thanks

Microwave highly unlikely to run off the Eu1.0i due to start up loads, ours draws around 1400w. We run it off a 2.0i. which is 1600w constant, 2kw max.

We use a 3L pressure cooker on 2 burner Neptune - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hawkins-C...-3-Litre-/190744157845?_trksid=p2054897.l4276

Thanks Graham,

I figured that would be the case with the 10EU. so no microwave for me.. :(
As for the pressure cooker, I'm just looking to buy one, that's way I asked, I will abmit i'm looking at stainless steel ones.

Can't advise on microwave, but bought an extremely good Aldi SS pressure cooker for £26.99. Disadvantage was long handle for stowing. Use a Tefal with short handles on boat.
I wouldn't (having owned a single-burner Origo) like to try and cook anything on one (I doubt it would accomodate a 24cm pan.

My Origo 3000 has pan supports which are 17 cm square, and the complete unit measures 25 cm front to back, so yes it will just fit but it will be sitting on the fiddle bar at the front (if you have one) and will slightly overlap the centre line.

Beware of bargain pressure cookers, once the gasket hardens the cooker becomes useless unless you can get a replacement.
