Flipen heck!!! When the boat is sailing at an angle like that, what happens to all the table and chairs on board and other loose stuff? Its a hell of a luxurious boat to be at an angle like that!!

Nice video but too long by half. Would have been better with a few tacks and gybes!. Skipper could have eased sheets a bit and been a wee bit more comfortable.

Nice clean bottom.

Wonder how much the tins of A/F cost each time...... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

We had to wait to release the clip until the footage had been aired on the Travel Channel (USA) who had first right to the video (they paid for the chopper). The actual show aired a few nights ago and here is a link to it . I hope to have a better quality version soon, as well as any scheduling info from Travel Channel UK.

Just a warning, the narrator gets quite a few things wrong, like the boat's weight (760t) Also the lady from Nigel Burgess suggests that while sailing it is a thrill to watch water come in over the rail. Quite honestly if that ever happens it probably means we're sinking, so it could be quite thrilling I suppose!

Final apology...sorry about all the bubble bath nonsense.

Joe

Nice video. Re "water coming in over the side" if you click on the other shorter vids on the same BYM page you can see the leeward side with plenty of freeboard left. I'd guess the lady who said that wasn't on board during the 19knot run?

When the Discovery channel narrator says "Our journey starts in Monaco..." the picture is of Villefranche :-)

Yup. Here are pics of MF's leeward side from the yacht's own website
