Minus 11c tonight!!!

The nice lady on Radio Scotland saying it will get as low as minus 11c tonight in the North West!!!....baltic all day here in Troon, never got above freezing in the back garden!! Beats the hell out of the wet and wind of last week though!!

Heh heh, yep, so it doesn't matter in what direction the temperature changes, "they" are still right

Same for businesses. Lay-offs used to be called "down-sizing" which is very negative.

You are putting me off. We hate the cold and wanted to move south. Thinking about atlantic coast of France or Portugal and thereby avoid the 40 deg C summer temps.

Are you saying that can't avoid the cold in Portugal now?
