We left our boat on our mooring at Burnham on Sunday afternoon and returned Monday lunchtime to find some scratches and large scrapes of red / orange paint on the port topsides, quite high up, so not dinghy sailors.
Luckily most have polished out but still annoying.
The yard lads said that another boat had the same sort of damage but of course nobody has owned up.
Did any one notice a red boat behaving oddly about that time?

Infuriating isn't it. We've had the same thing happen up at Burnham a couple of weeks ago. Clearly somebody has clobbered us on our mooring and scratched the topsides but we'll never know who

wasn't here then but was there a race on? they get very very close when they are tacking through moorings and sometimes i'm sure they get it wrong. we've lost wind vanes which i am sure were due to being clobbered by masts on heeled boats cutting it too fine
