Just an interesting short story (fortunately it didn't last too long)
Today I discovered approx 40L of seawater under the floors... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Explanation:
When I don't use the boat, I have the prop wired to an external hanging anode by means of a cable fastened to the shaft in the engine compartment (some neighbours are electrically anything but discreet).
A big mobo is now moored astern on the other side of the pontoon. They have been running power tests last week with their CO2 factory, which forced the shaft to take 2 turns, and so the anode cable squeezed the volvo stern gland, and then flow, sweet river, flow...
By now the boat is dry and the shaft quite secured....
Beware of the Mobo... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
