Does anyone know of a supplier for Minax fabric clips? They are circular, made of white plastic and have a sliding 'fork' which fastens/unfastens. On my boat, they are used for attaching foot of sprayhood to coachroof, and foot of removable sidepanels to cockpit coaming.

No, but if you follow pvb's link above, you will see how they work. They are rather nifty. The only problem is that the sliding forks are rather delicate, and some of mine have broken after only 12 years' of constant use! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There is a guy who seems to visit most of the boat jumbles (oop north anyway, but he comes from the sath so prolly does yours too), he sells all sorts of hooks, clips, loops and things for boat covers, maybe worth waiting for the next jumble and seeing if he has what you want.

I have probably got a receipt somewhere, I will post any details later when my file clerk gets home, she is very good at storing all our receipts, but does not share her system with me.

(just to save importing and the problems that can entail, I am not disregarding the link you have already been given)

Thanks for the tip.
As it was difficult to get the RIB into the garage for the winter, I will probably get a stand at the Essex BJ, so I can clear out the accumulated cra... sorry- 'previously-cherished' sailing items in there. I'll look out for him.

By the way, it's not 'the sath', it's 'dahn sarf.' Nawah Amin. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
