We may need to leave the boat in Milford Haven for a week or so, depending on how fast or slow the next low moves through. Can anyone please recommend a good place to do so. Swinging mooring is fine ie cheap as possible. Boat 12tons, 44ft Thanks

Second that for Rudders - have used them for temp moorings a few times. Friendly, professional and as cheap as you are going to get for a deep water mooring, unless you can get a yacht club mooring on a temporary basis. Also they have a pontoon for unloading/loading purposes.

Worth calling in at the yacht club at Hobbs point and asking (there is a pontoon just outside - so stopping is easy - and you've got to go past to go to Rudders anyway).

Ask at the club - depends what boats are away - its a very informal arrangement - if a mooring is free you may be pointed at it - clubs generally open Wed, Fri night and in the afternoon at w/e's.

Having said that you are a bit on the big side - most boats moored there go upto about 40ft - and probably not quite as heavy as yours - so there may not be a suitable mooring free.

Otherwise - as others have said - try Rudders - or failing that Lawrenny yacht station - but again they won't have many for a boat of your size.

Neyland Marina is just opposite Hobbs point and would probably fit you in - for a price ! If you have to - ask for the upper basin (partial tidal restriction) as it can be cheaper

Thanks for the ideas. Not sure if we are going this weekend or next as weather doesnt look too settled. But whatever, it is good there are some alternatives.
