Currently in Dale but as the weather is pretty rubbish i need to entertain kids,get diesel,food,gas,water etc so where is best to head to?

Milford marina is nearest diesel, big tesco superstore only 5 min walk away.
I am in cardiff listening to the thunder. I delayed my trip west until tomorrow hoping for a return of the summer sun

Plenty of sun here, but i guess its quite lumpy outside the Haven.

Yes, Milford marina is very good. Diesel, laundry, etc. and very sheltered. When there, go to the museum. I was there with my 7 yr old granddaughter and she loved it. Milford also has a rail connection in case you want to travel around a bit. Hope you are not on the Dale pontoon! That can get very uncomfortable.
