Mildew

Hi

Storing a boat under a canvas waterproof cover, not wanting to take out seats etc from cockpit, but if i leave them in over winter mildew grows, it isnt stored near electrical hook ups so cant put in greenhouse heater etc any methods that work?

Improved ventilation will reduce or eliminate all forms of mould, open all storage areas and get an air flow going, it works, and it doesn't cost the earth.

thanks I think perhaps that was where i was going wrong I was sealing it up too much over the winter months

It might stop mildew, but it wont stop mould or geen slimey messy stuff or spiders webs.
