Following on from my earlier thread on my MY30 troubles. I am looking to replace with either the Chinaspacher or Planar, what I don't want to do if I can avoid it is re-run all the heating ducts or ideally the exhaust pipes. The problem is the Mikuni uses 80mm hot air ducting and 22mm exhaust.

As far as I can find out the Planar 44D uses 100mm ducting and 24mm exhaust. I haven't been able to see what the Chinese heaters need.

Is there any chance, using suitable adapters that I can use my existing pipework?

Hi, Autoterm Air 4D (previously planar) uses 90mm ducting via a reducer (96/90mm) that clips on to the heater after the outlet cover is removed. Normal practice is to replace the first length of duct up to the first grille with 90mm then have a reducing Y piece and then connect the original ducting from there onwards.
