It is with great sadness that I heard today of the sad death of Mike Turk.My condolences to his family.He helped me greatly when I set up my boatyard many years ago.
He was Queens swanmaster and Queens waterman for many years.His other endevers include building the Grand Turk featured in many films along with running his tripper business and supplying the marine input to lots of the old James Bond films.
Sadly missed

Jeez! This has left me absolutely stunned. Mike and I go back over 50 years we've carried each other home on many occasion. I shan't sleep tonight reliving the great times of our youth.
