chepstow is too far away, i guess. but a thought for you - why not try a year sailing in the bristol channel? club moorings here are either free or very cheap and its an atractive uncrowded area. pm me if you want details

Hi Birdseye

I sailed my first season on a Vega in Bristol Channel at Uskmouth (Newport) but found it very muddy, tidal but empty! Enjoyed Ilfracombe but the rest left me a bit cold. I have friends who keep their Vega near Chepstow and they live at Chepstow (Vega Blue Turaco) Oldbury on Severn.

Yep in Cheltenham but confess to being scum of the earth ex-stinker. Lanason lives in Tewks (also stinker). Have suggested meeting up with Lanason at the Fleet. You'd be welcome to join us when we sort out a date.
