Alteratively, you could use a Brizo Hullmate from your pontoon berth.

Ive got one and it works a treat but I think they have now gone belly up and replacement foams are no longer available.

Roughly were is it? I wasn't successful in getting google maps to recognise those co-ordinates

Back when I had twice the number of keels, I would beach either on Osea Island in the small bay East of the old pier or on Bradwell beach where the baffle used to provide some shelter.

Thanks for all the tips in this thread - I have been in the water all this winter but need to check anode and give a scrub - lifting keel so off the beach it will be.

At the wet edge of Weymarks Farm, where the barges used to be beached to offload London mixture, used to enrich the soil, and load up with fuel for London's four legged transport, which the power units of those days turned into more London mixture. A perfect example of a closed cycle!
