Usual collection of traders and quite a few stalls. Neither raggie noe mobo in feel. Neutral then. I like the venue, and like any jumble, can be described as brilliant if you find what you want, otherwise crap.
North Weald is bigger, Southend about the same.
/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif and the man in the pub selling mobile phones isn't VAT registered? Surely not /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The hop farm, always the coldest venue! Went for three years runnning the last time it snowed while we were queueing to get in. If you are going go early , very early and be prepaired to queue, for ages in the rain , snow and howling wind.
I prefered Chatham at least there was something else to look at .
Alll in all Its an interesting day out and worth going to if you are like bootsales.
Me, ill stay in doors, in the warm with warm drinks on tap searchin with my fingers on the keyboard for by boaty bargins.
Can you let me have the date(s) so that I can warn all our club members to be extra vigilant - thieving always goes up when we get a "boat jumble" in the area - the lead up to Chatham Dockyard jumble was horrendous.
