Hi all,

I had the pleasure? of seeing the new Miami Vice Film last night in London and was gutted that the opening sequence of offshore powerboat chase scene has been cut! This was due to be a highlight of the film for boat fans. Mind you Crockets new catamaran is awesome (I think it is a 40ft MTI?) and allows him to pop from Florida to Cuba for a drink! Also lots of nice shots of Donzi boats including there new 43ft boat as hull number 1 was used.

So some great boat scenes but not as many as there should have been. Lots of missed oportunities for boat chases as there is not a single one left in it (and only one half baked car chase).

Oh well, never mind. If anyone knows what the open top Catamaran is I would appreciate it. I would have asked Jamie but he refused to go on the boats in filming and Colin was getting familiar with a co-star so I thought better not to interupt!

Cheers

Hi Al,

Nothing gone wrong at all. When we got her it was to dip our toes into a new market, i.e Hard Top Finnish Diesel Sports Cruiser. The fact is we have fallen in love with that type of boat. So much so we are considering going back up the size ladder (by 2 ft or a max of 4) to an Aquador 26HT or 28C. I am going to write an owners report soon to highlight why the change is so great. At the end of the day we are in no rush to go back up the boat size, but thought I would see if I could sell her Privately before SIBS so I have more bargaining power! In reality we always intended keeping her for one year max.

I have got to say she is the best boat I have ever owned...but SWMBO would like a little larger cabin for next year!

Cheers
