I have just had a great experience dealing with someone and would like to spread the word. I pulled one of the diesel tanks on my boat and had the seams rewelded on the bottom, very thorough and good job. I then found out he could supply me with stainless and aluminium tube for my wind generator and solar panel mounts. Very well priced (I got stitched up by Smiths a while ago and won't go back). He is also doing a bit of fabrication for me because I bought an overly large anchor and now need to modify part of my anchor roller.
All my dealings with him have been straightforward and simple, he couldn't be more helpful. A lot of his business is building roll cages for race cars, but he understood everything I threw at him.
X Works at Cock Clarks near Chelmsford 01621 828889.
Standard disclaimer, nothing to do with the company, just satisfied customer etc....

Thanks for the tip, it will no doubt come in handy soon.
I live very near but had no idea they existed.
That looks like a very interesting ship you have.
Regards
Dan
