Merryfisher 925 KAMD285 , D4260 or Yanmar 260

What’s the jury’s view? Just planning the next boat move and fancy the 925 but undecided on engine choice. We’re familiar with the jeanneau range having had 3, would like something British or Scandinavian but too expensive at the moment and can put up with their “built to a price” quality. Need a fly bridge and prefer single engine. So gurus , any advice? Oh the memsahib likes to cruise at planing speed to get where we’re going.

The more hp and torque the better it is. A friend has the KAD300 and I think that's not enough, it runs heavy on a full load and late in the season.
