Im pleased for him though sounds a nice boat.
SO I'M STILL LOOKING (but not that far away).
Just waved goodbye to my shetland family four,great little boat good intro to mobo. Hope i dont regret selling her.

Hmm, not sure about that. I'd recommend

A. Honestly and rigorously identify what you actually need from a boat
B. Determine what is the SMALLEST boat that delivers
C. Then let budget dictate age and condition

I know it's some one other than you, but good luck to 'em anyway.

The 760 is a good boat, we looked at one when considering the 805, just found them both a little too small for our needs.

Lovely specification, but the engine is rather underpowered for a 760. You'd expect that engine in the Beneteau 710 or Merry Fisher 695. I would be very (pleasantly) surprised by the top end performance figures, but I would expect to just scrape those in the smaller two boats I mentioned with that engine and then only just scrape them with a light load.
Add about 25% maybe a fraction more to those fuel figures at cruising and WOT too.

Other than that, sounds a good boat, but priced relatively low due to the engine.
