I am looking to downsize from my Merry fisher 805.
The new Merry Fisher 695 with outboard appears to tick most of the boxes.
However they are a new model and few around in the second hand market.
Question :
Are there any alternative boats around 20ft, outboard, enclosed sea toilet, low air draft ?

Askeladden P66 Weekend (or Parker 660 Weekend, same boat) ticks the boxes too and it has been on the market 4 years so maybe there are some used boats available.

It seems around 22 ft is the smallest size allowing for an enclosed head and they are damn cramped too.

Is the sea toilet absolutely essential for you, as by wanting this option you are seriously limiting your options of suitable boats in the size range you are considering.

Not much downsizing from an 805 then :) What's your reason for wanting a smaller boat

We would like a lower air draft as we have to negotiate Poole bridge, it would be nice to have the flexibility of leaving and returning as we like.
Also we find the inboard engine quite noisy and hoping that outboards are much quieter. The 805 is a great boat but its quite a lump to get through the water and have not yet managed to get up on the plane.

We are just in the process of downsizing from a 26ft Sports Cruiser to a new MF 695.. It's a small boat that ticks all our boxes really well.. Should arrive mid July.. :)

I took one on a sea trial and can confirm that it is really quite with the outboard.. At displacement speed I would say the loudest thing is the water tapping on the hull, at planing speed you can easily have a conversation.. Heads is small but I can get in no problem, I am 5'11".. Cabin feels spacious and cockpit is great.. Over all I think the boat looks really good too..

Thats interesting. Who did you do your sea trial with, is there a cost inolved ?
Did you consider the 7 series as i think they are similar and perhaps a few second hand ones around ?
Thanks

Will PM you details..

We didn't consider the 7 series because we want to trailer so the 695 is the right one..
