Merlin Data Cell II battery monitor. Any experience?

I tried to find out today about the Merlin Data Cell battery monitor, having seen it advertised in PBO but the man who answered the 'phone could not give me details or prices.

Does anyone know about this piece of kit? Ease of installation? Cost? Usefulness?
