I've been logging on to the forum for a few weeks now and find it really interesting. My boat (Fairline Sunfury) is at Mercury and I just wondered if anyone else who uses the forum is berthed there too - maybe we could meet up for a beer or two?

I think Ianainge is there? I'm further down the river, just above port hamble on the other side, big 333 race numbers on the bow, wave as ya go by.

We are over at Hythe with our Fairline Corniche and come over to Mercury quite a bit so always happy to say hello.

Hi BarryH. Why am I 4 months too late - has everyone left in one go? Might be something to do with me cos I've been there about four months. Really pleased with the Sunfury originally intended to keep it just for one season then trade up, but so pleased with it that I'm considering re-powering with twin deisels. Are you local? If so would be happy to let you see it or even do a trip out.

Hi Nick - let me know when next you're coming over and I'll buy you a beer in exchange for a look over your Corniche - been an admirer of the Corniche for a few years - nearly bought one three years ago - but went for Sportscruiser instead.

About 4 months ago, well may actually, those nice people at Mercury threw a bit of a bash for this rabble on here. Why I don't know!

I'm not local to you but run out of Poole most of the time. We get to the solent occasionally. Looking to go a bit larger as the family is growing so I need a bit more room. Maybe a mobo which is looking likely, or I maybe going back to my raggie roots. Depends on which mood the other half is in at the time we look at boats!

We come to Poole a lot - I enjoy a trip down there, usually stay at the new marina on Town Quay - may well be down weekend after next. What boat do you have right now?

<hr width=100% size=1>

Quite a few of us hang around Poole, I get get down most weekends if the weather is half decent, often in Studland or Swanage if I dont want to go too far.

What's the name of your vessel, keep an eye open. My details in user profile.

Another Fairline owner! I'm based up the river from you at Eastlands, just under theM27 bridge. Often in Mercury and have to pass evertime I head for the sea/forums/images/icons/wink.gif I've just re-engined to diesel - loving it /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Typical.

I was at Mercury for a year and a half. Left it on a temporary basis (I hope) just two weeks ago. Hope to be back in March - if they can find me a berth.

Hope to meet up with you then
