Any of the sensors were changed as we thought it might be defective, but it continued, we reinstalled the new sensors. We've been in the sea without thermostat and without temperature sensor, the whistle continues.

Hi Algarve, are you sure there is no problem with the two stroke oil mixture.
I have heard that there can be problems with the automatic mixer. If you disconnect the mixer, and empty the oil tank and use petrol already mixed. But I am not a mechanic so check with someone you trust before following my idea

Thanks for the answer. The flow of water is constant and cold, new impeller.
Oil tank is full and it is new, if it were oil, the alarm was intermittent.

If it's a continuous unhappy beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and it's not an early model, then it's a problem with overheating or the overheat circuit.

If you have replaced the sensor, the cylinder jacket is okay to touch and there is plenty of water coming out of the tell tale, then either the electronic module at the other end has failed, or the wiring from the sensor to the module is damaged.

I have heard that on the earlier carb versions there is a mismatch of metals on the power head to leg that can cause corrosion and blockage. Check you have sufficient water flow and the engine temp with a infra red temp sensor
