Mercury Head Gasket

Hi,
I have an old Mercury 2.2hp 2stroke which needs a head gasket. My problem is trying to locate one as it looks like they're no longer made for this old motor, so, can anyone give me some tips on making my own, ie., material to use, thickness, will I also need a sealant on the gasket?

You will need some sort of fire ring round the bores.
