Here again,
A big hug to everyone on this side of Atlantic.

My question is:

Is it possible my motor Mercury 90hp elpto 2 strokes 1997 be change and reprogram to 115hp?
I ask this because it seems to me that the block is the same and cc.

If yes how to proceed?

Dunno with a 97 engine
But did it with a new 90 hp I bought in 89
Just changed carb jets
On your side of the pond
Go to Boats . net
And dive into the 'Mercury parts Forum' unless you already have!

This is not possible on a 1997 2 stroke because that is the 3-cyl model and 90hp is the max power that engine was sold in. There are no original carb jets available to take it to 115hp. The 115hp engine was 4 cyl in the 1997 model year, so you'd kinda need to add an extra cylinder to your 90...

I dunno where you got the info that 90 and 115 1997 2-strokes are the same block. They aren't.

If you need more power then I'd suggest get a different engine. Both the 3 cyl 90hp and the 4 cyl 115/125hp were not particularly good engines in any case, imho (I have a 125hp 4 cyl currently).

The 2 stroke 75 and 90hp are the same EXCEPT for the Carb, the stickers on the cowling and the timing.

I know this as a mercury agent (now no longer in business) sold the previous owner of my boat two 90hp's.

The block had a connecting rod come through the side.

When I quoted the serial # to obtain a replacement block, Mercury told me it was a 75hp.

The B<gger of a dealer had changed the carbs and the stickers on the cowling but forgot the timing, but did not disclose what he had done.

I asked Mercury if they condoned this dealer change without disclosure to purchaser and they went silent. They did come up with quite a few freebees including a new electric trim.:)

IMHO Mercurys are really freshwater engines and not meant for salt water, so it seems to my boating friends who virtually to a man prefer Yamaha.
I replaced my Mercraps with two 85hp Yamaha's last year.

I cannot advise on the new Mercurys, including their bigger VERADO hp engines
