The tender engine is not happy.
I changed the impellor and filled up the remote tank with fresh fuel, but now, under load, it "surges" slower and faster, as if it is about to stall. If you back down from higher revs, it does stall, then restarts.
Running with a notch of choke out improves things a bit. As does pumping the bulb on the fuel line. And the semi-transparent fuel filter looks mostly empty. So I'm guessing fuel starvation might be the issue, but I have realised that I have no idea how it is meant to work. Where is the fuel pump? Is it the little block thing on the side of the carb?
