Recently i have been experiencing problems with my engine cutting out. I have noticed it has only happens when i am travelling upstream to my marina ( the engine is working slightly harder). I have changed both fuel filters and drained the diesel tank. The engine has only done approx 260 hours.
When the engine cuts out it seems there is an air lock in the fuel pipes. The fuel pipes all look in good condition.
There is no set pattern to the problem some times i have had it running for at least 5 hours without the engine cutting out and then it cuts out after an hour another time.
