Mercruiser 3.0 alternator belt

Do you think my engine will run ok with my halfords £3.95 alternator belt or should I forget my weekend plans and wait till tuesday for the £21 gold plated one ?.

My advice would be to check what is available in the 'Gates Green Line' range of belts.

No connection, just a very happy customer.

cheers guys , was worried that cos its not a marine part , my engine would notice and blow up or refuse to start or something.
