Right. first of all, i have no association with these guys whatsoever...

Our boat was down in Lymington after the used boat show and we were let down by the other party who was supposed to return it to the Hamble.

Just about to step on a flight to Singapore for the week and no way of getting it moved so facing the prospect of some hefty marina bills.

Solitaire (or Powerskipper) was able to move it the following day at a very reasonable price! Fully expecting a taxi bill on the invoice to return the skipper to collect her car, she took the train home saving me the cost! very very honest and a pleasure to deal with!

Full marks and a credit to the industry! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Kind regards
Howard.

I must say John Medez assisted me when I moved my boat from Brighton to Torquay in very difficult conditions in April this year.

I learnt a lot from him and also received an excellent service - well done to Mendez!

But please correct the miss-spelling of your name on your website. I think you are calling yourself 'Mendez Markne' not 'Mendez Marine' - replace the incorrect 'K' flag with an 'I' which as I recall is a black dot in a yellow background!

No worries Howard. We had time to get Julie back by train so thought it would be a better option. It was frankly almost as quick by train as by taxi - although Julie did have a bit of a walk from the station /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks, but are aware of the issue with the flag name, and it will be corrected once our designer gets back from honeymoon. As it happens it's an "L" not a "K" and Jon is Jon not John and it's "Mendez" not "Medez". But hay ho, we can't all be perfect - /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif And yes, an "I" is a yellow square with a black dot.

Yep, there are loads of 'Good Guys' out there it's just some of them stay a touch hidden!

Nice to hear credit where it's due, well done Team Mendez! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Whoops - I did edit/correct my original post but for some reason the function did not post it! New user error! All I can say is that JON MENDEZ is an excellent fellow and I give him credit where credits due and I suppose if their designer was about to go on honeymoon all is foregiven!...... Nut sqell chequed thes past eiver......

I certainly owe a lot of my boating knowledge to Jon. He took me from a 24' sportscruiser to a 43' Flybridge (without a bow thruster) with supreme confidence. Could not have wished to have been in better hands.
Great bunch of people.

10 / 10 for Mendez marine.
