If you are looking at the SW end below the Swellies the Caernarfon Harbour Trust looks after these. There may be one or two vacant at y Felinheli though most seem to be occupied this year. Call the harbour master on 01286 672118 or email cht@caernarfon-hbr.demon.co.uk. NE of the Swellies is licensed by the council I think and you have your mooring laid by a contractor. Not sure of the full details.

Phone No. for Menai Bridge Piermaster-- 01248 712312.

He sorts out the job from Menai Bridge to Beaumaris.

There seems to plenty a moorings available this Year.
However the ones prox to Mena Bridge Pier or the slipway are always coveted.
Can You dry out?
rjp has covered the other End.
I like Port Dinorwic Marina.
Yeh I know Marinas are a bit Pricey.

That's why SWMBO has had to cut down on luxurys!!

Menai Bridge end is good because the slipway is pretty much 24/7.
Can get a bit choppy when wind against, towards Ynys Y Big and down towards the Gazelle.
At PD as well but seems less frequent there.
I would try for as close to Menai as poss.
Once "In" there is a chance of working Your way to the spot that suits You best.
Mooring chappies Stan Zalot 01248 810907
Beaumaris Marine Services 01248 810001

If You can dry out.
I know there is room at Jonathan Evans Yard by Bangor Pier.
01248 355095.
Also a good person to talk to ref mooring tackle, where to get what type to use etc.etc.
He doesn't actually Contract out or lay moorings anymore. But will know a man that can, at decent rates too.
So if You need any advice in that direction, call Jonathan.
Tell Him Kawasaki sent yer!

Jonathon ... smile smile smile ....

1) His shed is unique; 2) I just love it when he say's "I've gotta go to 'arrods' to get summit."

Both north and south for swinging moorings there's a waiting list as long as your arm in spite of the (appently) vacant moorings.

Port Dinorwic Marina seems to be the only choice for the summer. Victoria Dock whilst it's still under CHT management may be a possibility from November 2007 through March 2008.

Suprising that, ref no room swinging moorings.
Where is everyone this Year?
The area looks comparitively empty.
Aye, unique shed.
Been going there for 25 years.
We must have met at some time!
Seen My Mobo there with it's stern gear removed?
The Job has had a lot of discussion and cap adjusting debates amongst the Crew!
Gallons of Tea were supped before the Final Solution was decided.
A few trips to "Arrods" unfortunately too!
