Rest of today spent mooching around the Marina chatting and drinking tea, great!!

Now I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did PD from Porthmadog two years ago and was royaly entertained by Kawasaki. Fantastic little harbour...was that Targa (Botnia) still there? And the Liverpool Arms - a great pub. Thanks for the pics, I am now inspired to go again - 167nm for me. Oh, and did I mention Bardsey Sound /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Kawasaki is still entertaining all. There is a Targa in PD, it's calles Vessa something, or something Vessa, nice boat.
Liverpool Arms is still standing and yes, a great pub.
Not been through Bardsey Sound yet, but we've heard about it!!

Wimp. I used to go through Bardsey sound, long before I ever got a fear of it, or even knew what to do about it.

Just been talking to Tom, he's in Mean E Iye. Apparently the Maddog is playing out.

Still recovering from flu and getting the heating mended. God I've been rough. So has the heating. Anyway Tom says he has a three gang hook up. So thats ok in port.

Anyway hopefully we'll get mucky Farter and Little ship together, maybe they will make love and we will have loads of Little Sh#ts. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now im really green with envy,Still sick at not making the menai during our trip from Germany.Have to make the effort to get there.Lovely pics

Well I'm in Caernarfon this week and it is lovely . . . . .

But the boat's on the quayside until Thursday - DOH! and I have broken with a lifetime's common sense to clean & polish the hull. You see, that's the sort of evil influence you barstewards in mobo's have on us poor, simple raggies.

You rotten lot, leave me alone, I was happy as a pig in poo, sailing my dilapidated old plastic tub & now I am trying to tart her up into something she is not.

Kwaka, come & rescue me with a breakfast butty & a word of common sense. I should be in the pub boozing, or stuck in the mud somewhere trying to sail - but not polishing a 36 year old plastic bath tub!

Took Kwackers through Bardsey sound last year. The sea was crap, but Bardsey ok.

Anyone in the area must visit Bardsey Island, a magical place and dead easy to visit. Been loads of tiimes.

MYC, yep great. Long as you avoid the locals. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You dont need to go through the sound to visit Bardsey. The anchorage/bouys/slipway, umm harbour. Is round the other side. Nice walk to the church and umm museum. The history of the place is very interesting.

Fantastic pictures. I had a run out from Conwy on Friday evening with my girls, beautiful evening, crossed the bay to Puffin, rounded the Island and headed down as far as Bangor pier, really missed it.
First run out after a gearbox rebuild and so I didn't want to take any chances with the fading light, headed back to Conwy across the sands, the boat ran great, everything works and no leaks!
