Suprised, mine works fine on my netbook. I plan at home and upload to a garmin h trex gps.

Also have iPhone version and that shared the same charts.

What a rip off !!
I bought the CD to use for passage planning and approx navigation (along with paper maps ). I do not want to take my laptop on board so tried to install it on a net-book, apparently a net-book is not a mobile device so I would have to buy another license to use it, so what defines a mobile device ?, I am the sole user so why the restrictions ? besides being a rip off earner.

What's your netbook and what operating system is it running ?

Thanks very much for the offer ,
but most of my problems are user errors and flying laptops along with intermittent tethering problems with new phone.

I have the one licence and have it running on my home PC and laptop and Samsung Galaxy Note (the app is free) If you are not using it on 2 pcs you should be able to 'migrate' the licence via their online licence management. It all works, not perfectly all the time, the app needs a lot more work.Overall pretty good though.

Thanks for you input Jon I have it all sorted now, the support reply was not very clear and I got confused but now they pointed me in the right direction all is well ( I think).
