On a cold January evening nice to remember that summer does happen!

Well it looks very nice but Saint Lucia today is equally as beautiful looking out. Certainly the race start for the World ARC was a great photo

My memories of summer were rain, (too much) wind, rain, wind. Repeat.

I'd taken a big chunk of time off work and planned to head west. After a week hiding in the Solent and three days not even emerging from Lymington, the crew mutinied and insisted that we return to base at the first opportunity and that I take them on a proper holiday instead. Which we did. :(

I should have gone at Easter. That was glorious. As was October. Sadly, apart from weekend day sailing, I was in the office while the sun shone and 4/5s blew.

Thanks for the reminder of last years cruise.

Didnt look like that when we were there.

Spent 1 night in the harbour and 1 night round the corner from your beach.

Regretted moving as Swmbo on the verge of chucking up all night ... Two french boats alongside had crews lined up doing synchronised technicolour yawning.

Prefer Sauzon

Probably should keep quiet about this, but January is thus far proving remarkably not-cold here in the Medway - windy but far from the temperatures this time last year!
