Melton Boat Yard, the Deben?

Hello I'm hauling out in this yard tomorrow PM, ( the intention is to fit my Aries windvane), if anyone here is in the yard come and say hello, or if you know it, any tips? eg good/shit pubs? I will be out til next springs probly. Thanks Bob.

WE used to have a caravan just outside Melton but it has been about a year since I stayed there so things may have changed (but I doubt it) The Wilton Bridge is very good. The Unruly Pig is also good but a little more pricey. Both serve Adnams.

The fish and chip shop in Melton is excellent and also serves pizza.

There is also the Coach and Horses in Melton but I have no real experience of that one but have heard it is good.

It is also a short walk along the river to Woodbridge where the world is your oyster.

True, but just been in tonight and no space for MrsP and me to eat. Went to Kings Head instead and good beer and good food at more reasonable price.
