You should try it at night with the illuminated windscreen hoop and the allround red and green navlights. Still at least the pulpit forward target ring was designed like the bomb aimer on the Dam Busters.
And no clue where the dimmer was on the Raymarine display. I could see the veins in Dougies nose from the inside with the uplighting.

I did eventually find the dimmer on the plotter....exactly as was suggested a the time.....In fact i turned it up on the way over as the sun was making hard to see.....
