MURPHY is Cyano's new tender and it actually floats!

And it's all my own work! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Why call my tender 'MURPHY'? It was suggested by my daughter after enduring long epistles describing, blow by blow, all that went wrong after it left the drawing board: fairing the plug, making the mould, releasing the first moulding, fitting the woodwork,.........

Any comments, ideas, remarks are invited and are most welcome.

Thanks Robin! Actually I only need to make the rudder fittings. The centreboard case is already there, as is the tube that will take the mast. It was easier to fit them before rather than later.

The sail will be a standing lugsail - tiny, of course. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Murphy is only just over 2 metres long, that's around 6 foot 8 or close, so the sail will be around 30 square feet.

Sorry for the delay in answering.
Do get in touch when you get here (or before, if you wish).
The last week of October starts to be somewhat hectic because I am usually involved with scrutineering the boats that will be taking part in the Rolex Middlesea Race, and then doing bridge. This is our major offshore race and attracts some of the world's fastest Maxis like Alfa Romeo, Maximus, ABN Amro, and others. Full details are on the website. The start is usually quite spectacular and I'd try not to miss it if I were you.
