Meeching Boats any views?

I am thinking of keeping my Sadler 25 in Meeching Boats at Newhaven - anyone got
any views about the place ?

Tern. I used to keep my boat at Cantells on the other bank of the creek. OK if you dont mind the limited access and the wait for the A259 swing bridge when you want to move. The fly in the ointment is the giant scrap-yard on the opposite bank of the River Ouse, where they chew up old cars etc into fist-sized pieces. This produces lost of rust clouds which do decks and upperworks no good at all when the wind blows your way.
