Hi I am planning a passage from the river medway to flushing, it looks straight forward just the TSS crossing to worry about and allowing for enough water to get into the marina at flushing.
Has anyone got any other onfo I should know about before setting out

thanks

Passage plans for this have been posted several times before. Your choice beyond North Foreland is between following alongside the TSS from Sandettie on, or the 'inshore' route along the Belgian coast either via Dunkirk or between the sandbanks. The former is quickest, the latter offers interesting stopovers and the sea is more sheltered.

The tide entering the Westerschelde is strong: best to time the passage so that you will arrive with the tide in your favour. Take care not only of the cross-tide at the entrance to the marina but also the short but busy TSS just outside. The marina can only be entered in the daytime and not within an hour or so of low water. If this is a problem, easier options are the marina at Breskens on the other side (boring town) or a little further into Flushing's ferry harbour, through the lock and there is a little marina inside, attractive but rather a walk from the town centre.

When I was there three weeks ago, local Customs were getting strict on visiting Brit yachties because we aren't in Schengen - check with the marina for the appropriate form you have to complete.
