Medway River Festival July 6th. Update.

Have just received latest proposed list of events at Chatham Riverside.

Afloat.
10am Dinghy and rowing races. Local rowing clubs
11am. Seaplane landing.
12 Noon RNLI/Helicopter Rescue Demo.
12.30. Fire tug display.
1pm Yacht Races.
2pm Hovercraft.+ Poss, flypast from Rochester airport.
3pm Sailpast of historic vessels/sailing barges,Dunkirk veterans...and assorted Gin Palaces


All subject to change etc.

Ashore will be bands/displays/demos/sub aqua/model boats etc.....................

Can you please advise where the activities will be centered. Opposite Upnor, down in front of Hoo, etc?

All events will be taking place presumably within view of Chatham Riverside AKA Rats Bay.
There are rumours that the pontoon at Sun Pier may be back in use by then.Much missed after it sank a few years ago.
